Vincent Mak is a young data scientist, important member of various organizations and former professional swimmer.

Possionate about technologies, data science and computing. Vincent is currently the Data Scientist at Locbit where he leads the data science team to invent and develop automated systems to optimize buildings energy efficiency. Through this role, Vincent has achieved more than 15% energy saving on numbers of projects (The Quad, Maker Quarter and Jerome's Furniture) which influence Locbit's commercial efforts to secure a favourable position in the IoT industry. Vincent has also involved in a project that was funded by California Energy Commission to reduce energy consumption by 20% for a selected Walmart store.

In his earlier life journey, Vincent has represented Hong Kong to particulate numbers of international swimming competitions and bring home honorable achievements. His contribution to the city of Davis and his deep commitment of volunteering has shown his appreciation to the communities.

Projects.

I am possinate about inventing new technologies that lead to impact. My projects are consist with wide-range of data science and computing topics. My recent focus on computer vision technique has led me to rethink what AI can do for us in the future.
